Terms

Plain terms for a small game

Who you're buying from

The seller of record is Stripe (Link). Your purchase is a contract with them, and they handle tax. We make the game; Stripe sells it.

What you're buying

One payment of $4.99 unlocks the full game: unlimited runs, all four characters, every past daily and the Depths. It is not a subscription and nothing renews.

Your license

You get a personal, non-transferable license to play the game. The license is a signed code sent to the email address on your purchase. You don't need an account and there's nothing to log into.

We do not use DRM. A determined person could modify the game to unlock it without paying. We've accepted that: the game is protected by a flag, not by obfuscation. We'd rather treat buyers honestly than make the game worse for them.

Refunds

Self-serve within 14 days, through Stripe (Link), the seller of record. See refunds.

Availability

We'll try to keep the game and the daily running, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. The daily depends on a day boundary and our hosting; if either has a problem, we'll fix it rather than pretend it didn't happen.

Acceptable use

Don't attack the service, attempt to disrupt it for others, or resell the game. That's the whole list.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The game is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid — $4.99. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one on this page when you bought.
